THE KENT WEDDING CENTRE RE-OPENING - NEW CORVID-19 PROCEDURES

Your safety is our priority & in order to stop any ongoing risk of infection we have had to change the way we operate at the centre in order to minimise infection going forward. So you know just what to expect during your appointment we have highlighted all the current changes below for you.

- Appointments must be pre-booked, we will no longer offer walk in appointments. Please phone, message through our website, phone or email for availability.

- Face coverings must be worn throughout the appointment (please do bring your own, but if you forget we can provide one for you) Upon arrival hand sanitizer will be provided for you.

- A maximum of 2 guests may accompany you to your appointment in order to reduce the amount of people in the centre & maintain social distancing. Video calls with the rest of your bridal party will be encouraged via FaceTime, Zoom etc to ensure everyone can be involved in your special day!

- The person/s you bring with you will have to help you to dress in order to minimise contact with our team, so choose someone that you are comfortable with. You may feel safer bringing someone from your own household, which could be your partner. It may break with tradition, but it is more important to stay safe. You’ll try on several dresses so you could agree on a codeword with us for when you’ve found ‘the one’ and that’ll keep your partner guessing which dress you’ll be wearing on the big day.

- Our team will also be wearing face coverings and other PPE, as well as following strict hygiene procedures during your appointment. We’re afraid our toilets will be also be closed, due to government restrictions.

- For the foreseeable future only one bridal or groom appointment will be booked in at a time with longer intervals in-between to leave enough time to clean and sanitise between appointments. Just think of it this way, you’ll get the whole place to yourself!

- We kindly ask you to be mindful of others and arrive on time, whilst understanding that appointments must now be 90 minutes.

The bridal & groom area will be fully sanitised after each appointment, surfaces wiped and items that have been tried on will be steam cleaned. As this process takes time, the only way to ensure thorough cleaning takes place is by only having 3 appointments a day. This is to ensure every precaution possible will be taken to protect the health of our staff and you. For bridesmaids appointments, we do have two fitting rooms, so we can do joint fittings but these will need to be done one at a time in order to follow the regulations.

We are sure you understand why we will have the above precautions in place and respectfully ask that our procedures are followed. If you or your guest/s have or show any signs of Covid-19 or any other illness or are living with a person who may be ill, please let us know and reschedule your appointment to a later date.

Please do note that procedures may change in accordance with further government advice, we’ll of course keep you up to date if so.

While your appointment may feel different, our team will do everything we can to make it a fun and memorable experience for all the right reasons. While we may not be able to hug you when you’ve found ‘the one’, we will certainly share your happiness with you!

If you would like to share a copy of these Covid-19 procedures with your partner or guest/s who will be accompanying you can find it here.
